Our Strategy

We know excellent leadership has a direct, positive impact on our staff and the patients and service users they engage with to deliver high quality care and improvement of health and wellbeing.

Our aim is to deliver outstanding leadership development, at all levels and across the healthcare workforce. We are operating in a world which is changing at a scale and pace and therefore it has never been more crucial to harness and maximise the leadership potential and talent we have across the health system.

Leadership and Organisation Development forms an integral element of the Workforce Skills Strategy 2013-2020 for Health Education East of England.

Our successful partnership as a Local Leadership Academy with the NHS Leadership Academy strengthens this approach to ensure that leadership development and talent management are at the heart of our strategy for workforce development, and aligned with workforce planning, education commissioning and training and workforce transformation.
