East of England Organisational Development Network

The East of England OD Network launched in July 2015. The event was attended by over 40 OD representatives from across the east of England and had a focus on culture change and systems leadership. We now have over 100 OD colleagues engaged with the Network and attend regular networking events.

The aim is that the members of the network will enable, support and develop themselves and others through exchange of ideas, resources and learning. Click here to view upcoming and past OD Networking events.

Launched by NHS Employers the Do OD pages provide a valuable resource for OD Practitioners in the NHS to connect, learn and share.Join the NHS OD Network – our LinkedIn OD Group which has over 800 members and they are a friendly bunch. OD Practitioner Claiming Practice Programme

This Programme is one of two collaborative OD projects that is being led and implemented by the LLA OD network with support from an external consultant and Do OD. Following on from the successful pilot in the NW Leadership Academy, the ambition is to scale and spread a model that allows the OD NHS practitioner community to ‘claim their practice’. It will support OD practitioners across the regions to review their career journey, reflect upon current capability and competency and develop a portfolio claim which evidences their competency.   It will also enable regional and national system wide plans for supporting system level OD practitioners.  The outputs of this will provide STPs and the wider system assurances around skills to support system OD, as well as a talent & developmental pipeline on developing OD practitioner system ready skills.

This programme is a result of a jointly funded partnership between NHS Leadership Academy, Local Leadership Academies and Do OD. It follows on from successful work within North West Leadership Academy and is being supported by an external consultant, Dr Maxine Craig, working alongside Local Leadership Academy teams.
