Managing Equality and Diversity in an Organisation (ILM Level 4) Follow up day (7th March 2019) 

This event celebrated completion of this programme by participants across the east of England and culminated in presentation of certificates. 

Sponsors, programme alumni, and guests also attended to share strategies and initiatives around promoting diversity and inclusion.

We were delighted to be joined by Jacynth Ivey as our keynote speaker. Jacynth chairs HEE's Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee, working with staff from across the organisation to develop and deliver HEE's EDI Strategy. Additionally, Jacynth is a Non-Executive Director of the West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and a Special Adviser to the CQC.

 

The objectives of the day were to:

- Review actions and progress for participants
- Share ideas and approaches
- Share good practice
- Share the latest trends and learning
- The national context
- Action plan and Considering what activities will be next.
